iStarTec is a hydraulic installations company founded in 2000 that works in Lagoa, about 25 km from its office in Albufeira. It installs plumbing (hot and cold water, wastewater and rainwater drainage), Uponor hydraulic underfloor heating, Bosch solar thermal hot water and bathrooms, in new builds and renovations: luxury coastal villas, residential developments and renovations of sea-view properties. It does not do gas, drain unblocking or emergency repairs.

Yes. We replumb older houses in Ferragudo and along the riverfront, replacing old pipework (galvanised, PVC) with modern multilayer or PEX. Removal work is done carefully to preserve the original finishes where applicable.
We plan the schedule with the client so that most of the hydraulic work takes place between October and March (low season), leaving the villa free to let in high season. For new builds we keep to standard schedules coordinated with the builder.
Yes. We keep in touch with the client by email or WhatsApp, send photo reports of the works, and coordinate with local property managers or estate agents (Lagoa, Carvoeiro). The final technical documentation is delivered in Portuguese and English on request.
No. iStarTec installs and replaces complete systems; it does not do one-off repairs, emergency call-outs, maintenance contracts or drain unblocking. For a single leak or breakdown, a local repair plumber is the right call.
